Not a great day. Donked off my stack on the last hand I played. Guess I got careless as I was getting ready to shut down and grab a bite to eat. QQ UTG. It was clear I was beaten on the flop when I got check raised. This was actually the first time this has happened to me at this level and I guess I totally missed it. I should have been more careful. He clearly had a hand, and it was clearly K something, and I was beat. For some reason I couldn’t lay down my queens. Oh well, live and learn.
In hindsight I should have left this table earlier. It was extremely passive and very little action. Any aggressive raises were immediately folded to. I suspect two of the other players I was with were 2+2ers as they seemed decent. When he went all-in I should have know better too. I had two excellent places to buy a clue and I missed them.
Another lesson was table selection. I should have left this table long before this hand came along. It was VERY passive, with at least one or two good players there. Very little money to be made. I should have just left and moved to another table.
